International opportunities for students

Who can apply?

UniTrento students enrolled in the second year of the degree courses in:
  • Sociology - Sociology and Social Sciences course
  • International Studies - Political path and International Organizations

for mobility during the third year of graduation 


UniTrento students enrolled in the first year of the master's degree program in:

  • Management of Organizations and the Territory
  • Sociology and Social Research

for mobility during the second year of master's degree

with knowledge of the German language at B2 level

These requirements will be assessed when applying for the UniTrento call which is published annually in the autumn.

Why KU-Eichstätt?

What are the requirements at the time of departure?

For bachelor's students:

  • have achieved at least 120 ECTS and have a weighted average of marks of at least 25/30

For MSc students:

  • have achieved at least 60 ECTS and have a weighted average of marks of at least 25/30

The requirements listed above will be checked before departure, approximately between August and early September.

How long does mobility abroad take?

2 semesters (60 credits)

Study plan

The study plan must be agreed and approved in advance by both academic supervisors.

In which language?

Most of the activities are in German.

How does the conversion of grades take place?

The conversion takes place on the basis of the conversion table available in the downloads.


The thesis can be wroked out and discussed either at UniTrento or at Eichstätt under the supervision of one professor from each unievrsity.

Tuition fees

Students participating in the double degree program pay the tuition fees exclusively at UniTrento.
KU requires the compulsory contribution for complementary services (which includes concessions for public transport) of approx. 130 euros / semester.

Educational qualification

At the end of the double degree course, students obtain two separate 1st or 2nd cycle degree diplomas:
- from KU-Eichstätt: Bachelor's degree in Sociology or in Politik und Gesellschaft, Profil Welt und Europa oppure Master of Arts in Sociology di KU-Eichstätt
- from UniTrento:  Laurea in Sociologia o in Studi Internazionali  or Laurea magistrale in Gestione delle Organizzazioni e del Territorio or in Sociology and Social Research
