Who can apply?
2nd year UniTrento students of the bachelor's degree course in:
- International Studies
with a B2 level in English language.
These requirements will be assessed when applying for the UniTrento call which is published every year in autumn.
Located in the Thanh Xuan district, 30 minutes from the historic center of Hanoi, it boasts a modern campus that covers an area of 8 hectares in the green.

The care and commitment of teachers and staff, especially towards international students, are one of the values most felt by HANU.
The teachers, trained in prestigious universities such as Harvard University (USA), Queensland University (Australia), the University of Leeds (US), the University of Louvain (Belgium), Indiana University (United States), the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand), have significant experience in international organizations, multinationals and embassies.
The Faculty has about 300 students either from Vietnam or from other countries (the most represented ones: the United States, Australia, Cuba, Austria, Venezuela, Ukraine).
What is the added value?
In Italy and abroad, a double degree is always an added value. Not only the experts say it, you just have to browse through the job offers to realize that companies and organizations are looking for international and open-minded profiles, able to work in multicultural and face ever new global challenges: these are the workers of the future.
Vietnam, in particular, is one of the most dynamic areas of Southeast Asia, both from an economic and cultural point of view and, in recent years, it has developed very strong relations with Italy in the scientific, commercial and tourist fields.
What are the professional outlets?
HANU graduates can:
- continue with a master's degree in Vietnam or abroad
- operate in state organizations, for foreign affairs, embassies, NGOs, development projects and similar
- work effectively in English, in groups or individually, with a remarkable adaptability for working in multicultural contexts
What are the requirements at the time of departure?
- have obtained all the credits of the first two years of the bacheor's degree
- weighted average of marks of at least 24/30
The requisites will be checked just before the mobility, between August and beginning of September.
How long does mobility abroad take?
2 semesters (54 credits)
The study plan must be agreed and approved in advance by both academic supervisors.

How does the conversion of grades take place?
The conversion of the marks will be done on the basis of the conversion table in the downloads.
Students participating in the double degree program pay the tuition fees exclusively at UniTrento.
