Who can apply?

UniTrento students enrolled in the 1st year of the Master Degree in Finance (LM 16) with the following requirements:

  • hold a Bachelor Degree in the field of economics, econometrics or business administration
  • having passed at least two exams of the I year of the Master's degree in Finance (min. 12 ECTS)
  • knowledge of the English language at C1 level. The details abou the language requirements are available on the Admissions requirements webpage.

These requirements will be assessed when applying for the specific UniTrento call which is published annually in February.

What the requirements at the time of departure?

  • being enrolled in the II year of the Master Degree in Finance at the University of Trent
  • get admission to the MSc in Economics and Business at the Erasmus School of Economics (application's deadline: May 1st)

This requirement will be checked before departure, approximately between August and early September.
Additional language test or documentation might be required by the Host University.

How long does mobility abroad take?

2 semesters (60 credits).

Study plan

The study plan must be agreed and approved in advance by both academic supervisors. 
The credits obtained at EUR will be transferred to the student's career and recognized as equivalent courses of the II year and the compulsory internship.

In which language?

The activities are in English.

Thesis

The Thesis must be defended at Erasmus University Rotterda under the supervision of one professor from each University.

Tuition fees

Students participating in the double degree program pay the tuition fees both at UniTrento and at Erasmus University Rotterdam. EU and EEA citizens only, can apply for a scholarship awarded by the Dutch Governement.
On the other side, non-EU and non-EEA citizens are not entitled to receive the Dutch scholarship and will have to pay EUR tuition fees according to the Factsheet in the download box.
All UniTrento selected students, despite their nationality, will be awarded UniTrento scholarship.

Educational qualification

At the end of the Double degree course, students obtain two separate second cycle degree diplomas:

  • from Erasmus University Rotterdam: One-year MSc in Economics and Business, specialization in Financial Economics (Erasmus School of Economics)
  • from UniTrento:  Two-years Laurea magistrale in Finance.

Housing

 EUR provides students dorm through an yearly application, but places are limited. It is stronly suggested to start applying or looking for a room really soon. Housing for International students will provide you with details about housing.
