Who can apply?

UniTrento students enrolled in the 3rd year of a Bachelor's or 1st year of one of the following Master's degree courses:
 
  • Filologia e critica letteraria 
  • ​​Letterature Euroamericane, Traduzione e Critica Letteraria  
  • Filosofia e Linguaggi della Modernità 
  • Arte - inter-university master's degree with the University of Verona - for a.y. 2020/2021 and 2021-2022 UniVr is administrative seat of the master's course and publishes the call for applications for a.y. 2021/2022 and 2022/2023
  • Scienze storiche - inter-university master's degree with the University of Verona - for a.y. 2020/2021 and 2021-2022 UniTrento is administrative seat of the master's course and publishes the call for applications for a.y. 2021/2022 and 2022/2023)
Knowledge of the German language at level B2 is an essential requirement to be admitted to the selection.
Level C1 is required for students of ​​Letterature Euroamericane, Traduzione e Critica Letteraria.
These requirements will be assessed when applying for the UniTrento call which is published annually in the autumn.

TU Dresden is one of Germany's leading universities offering a wide range of seminars and courses in areas that complement and supplement the training offered by UniTrento. Since it is a 20-year partner of UniTrento, many university professors collaborate at the teaching and research level with colleagues from TU Dresden, this favors the integration of double degree students in a fruitful study and research environment.

What are the requirements at the time of departure?

Be enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of one of the above mentionned Master's degree programmes

The requirements listed above will be checked before departure, approximately between August and early September.

How long does mobility abroad take?

2 semesters (60 credits)

Study plan

The study plan must be agreed and approved in advance by both academic supervisors.
Arrange any exams to be anticipated to the first year at UniTrento with the academic referent professor (eg: Thesis seminar or other credits). 

In which language?

Most of the activities are in German.

Thesis

The thesis work is carried out under the supervision of professors from both institutions and will be discussed at UniTrento.

Tuition fees

Students participating in the double degree program pay the tuition fees exclusively at UniTrento.
TUD requires the compulsory contribution for complementary services (which includes concessions for public transport) of approx. 130 euros / semester.

Educational qualification

Al the end of the double degree course, students obtain two separate 2nd cycle degree diplomas:
- from TUD: Master's degree in Kunstgeschichte; Literatur und Kultur im gesellschaftliche Wandel; Philosophie; Geschichte
- from UniTrento:  Laurea Magistrale in Arte; Filologia e critica letteraria; Letterature Euroamericane, Traduzione e Critica Letteraria; Filosofia e Linguaggi della Modernità; Scienze Storiche
