International opportunities for students

Who can apply?

For mobility during bachelor's, UniTrento students enrolled in the 2nd year of one of the following Bachelor's degree programs:

  • Economics and Management
  • Business Management

with knowledge of the German language at B1 level and English at B2 level.

For mobility during master's, UniTrento students enrolled in the 3rd year of the above-mentioned Bachelor's degree programs or 1st year master's in:

  • Finance
  • Management

with knowledge of the German and English language at B2 level.

These requirements will be assessed when applying for the UniTrento call which is published annually.

TU Dresden is one of the top universities in Germany offering a wide range of seminars and courses in areas that complement and supplement the training offered by UniTrento. Since it is a 20-year partner of UniTrento, many university professors collaborate at the teaching and research level with colleagues from TU Dresden, this favors the integration of double degree students in a fruitful study and research environment.
Participation in the Double Degree program allows you to diversify and enrich your university education, acquire different study methods and achieve high skills in the German language.

What are the requirements at the time of departure?

  • have a weighted average of marks of at least 24/30

This requirement will be checked before departure, approximately between August and early September.

How long does mobility abroad take?

2 semesters (60 credits) from October.

Study plan

Check with the double degree academic reference if there are any exams or seminars that should be anticipated on the first year. 
The study plan must be agreed and approved in advance by both academic supervisors. 

In which language?

Most of the activities are in German.

How does the conversion of grades take place?

The conversion takes place on the basis of the conversion table available in the downloads.

Thesis

The thesis will be written and defended either at UniTrento or at TUD preferably at the host university, under the supervision of one professor from each university.

Tuition fees

Students participating in the double degree program pay the tuition fees exclusively at UniTrento.
TUD requires the compulsory contribution for complementary services (which includes concessions for public transport) of approx. 300 euros/semester.

Educational qualification

At the end of the double degree course, students obtain two separate first or second-cycle degree diplomas:
- from TUD: Bachelor's degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften or Master's degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre o Volkswirtschaftslehre
- from UniTrento:  Laurea in Gestione Aziendale or in Economia e Management or Laurea magistrale in Finanza or in Management
