International opportunities for students

Find here information about the process to enrol in a Master programme in English.

From December to March: APPLICATION

You apply online by the application deadline. Specific admission requirements and procedures are listed in the Master's degree webpages.

From April to July: GUIDANCE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE

Admitted students will receive guidance by email and will be provided specific information about accommodation request, tuition fees, health insurance.

PRE-ENROLMENT PROCEDURE

The university pre-enrolment application must be carried out before the enrolment.

First of all, you have to complete the online procedure on the UniversItaly website (please find the procedure in the download box). After UniTrento verification you will receive a notification in your email account specifying if the application has been approved or not. If your application is approved, your pre-enrolment application will be transmitted to the Italian Representative. 

The following pre-enrolment phases will be completed at the relevant Diplomatic-consular Representatives in order to obtain the student visa.

VISA

After completion of the pre-enrolment application you must apply for a university study/enrolment visa at the Italian consular diplomatic Representative.
Usual requirements for a student visa are:

  • proof of economic means (about 450.00 euros/month);
  • proof of health insurance;
  • proof of accommodation availability; 
  • the admission letter.

EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ENROLMENT

During the summer it will be asked to confirm your enrolment, in the an oline application that will be sent to you you will be asked to submit the following documents (please check which applies to you)

If you obtained your degree in a University based in one of the countries which adhered to the European Higher Education Area
If you obtained your degree in a University not based in the European Higher Education Area
  • Copy of your passport;
  • Original of the University degree or educational qualification and its translation in Italian or English if not already available in English, French, German or Spanish;
  • Diploma Supplement
  • Copy of your passport;
  • Original of the University degree or educational qualification, legalized (or with Apostille stamp if applicable) by the Authority of the country which issued the certification, and officially translated in Italian or English only if not already available in English, French, German or Spanish;
  • If applicable, CIMEA Statement of comparability or Verification Statement (you will be informed by the International Mobility office if you need to produce this document)
  • Transcript of records, either in the original English, French, German or Spanish version or officially translated in Italian or English.
