Opera Universitaria is a local institution managing student accommodation facilities. UniTrento can offer a limited number of rooms at Opera Universitaria facilities. Priority is given to Non European degree seeking students, remaining places may be assigned to Non European exchange students who have strict immigration requirements.

Prices vary according to the student category and will be notified to you by the International Mobility Office along with the link for the on-line reservation.
Please consider that Opera Universitaria apartments are only for students and not for family members, partners or relatives unless they are enrolled at UniTrento as well.
Opera Housing contract: application for extension - 1st year
You will be asked to fill out an application form (link will be sent to all students accommodated in Opera Universitaria facilities) in order to express your interest in extending your Opera Universitaria contract for the 2nd year (that is until 31st August 2024). Please be reminded that you are eligible for the accommodation only provided that you achieve a minimum of 42 ECTS credits by 10th August 2023 and that you do not have any debts with Opera Universitaria. By achieving the required credits, you will be also eligible for the reduced fee for the new housing contract.
Opera Housing contract: application for extension - 2nd year
You will be asked to fill out an application form (link will be sent to all students accommodated in Opera Universitaria room) in order to express your interest in extending your Opera Universitaria contract. Second year students can extend the contract only until graduation, which must take place by March 2025. Please be reminded that you are eligible for the accommodation only provided that you achieve a minimum of 84 ECTS credits by 10th August 2023 and that you do not have any debts with Opera. We remind you that your new contract must start the day after the old one ends: gaps in the two contracts are not allowed. Please fill out the application form accordingly. If you terminate your contract earlier for any reason (study, exchange mobility, internship, personal reasons, etc.) you will not be eligible for an accommodation anymore.
Accommodation for PhD students
Accommodation in Opera Universitaria facilities is granted only for the 1st PhD year, until 31st October 2024. After that date you must find private accommodation and in any case it will not be possible to extend the housing contract.
Accommodation for European Degree seeking students
European degree-seeking students can apply for Opera Universitaria call for housing applications usually published around June. The call is managed directly by Opera Universitaria and requires the calculation of ISEE (economic indicator). Other possibilities for accommodation are listed in the Accommodation off campus page.
