The admission to the GLaM is restricted to 65 places: 15 places are reserved for Non-EU students permanently residing abroad.
If you have double citizenship, i.e. one from a non-EU country and one from one of the 27 countries of the European Union, the latter prevails and you should apply as an EU citizen.
Minimum Requirements
Following minimum requirements must be fulfilled by GLaM applicants:
- A Bachelor's or higher degree from an internationally recognized institution at university level in legal studies (Italian L-14 bachelor's degree classification), or to have gained a minimum of 27 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) in the following scientific disciplinary sectors: IUS/01-02-04-05-07-08-09-10-13-14-17-18-19-20-21. For candidates with academic qualifications obtained abroad, the possession of curricular requirements will be verified with reference to the specific contents of the educational activities that led to the attainment of the qualification itself.
- Good knowledge of the English language (min. B2 level of the European Common Framework), as defined by the University Language Center standards
- A personal background with suitable professional vocational and academic experience appropriate to the interdisciplinary nature of the degree course
Exemptions: candidates who have gained their degree (Bachelor's or Master's) from a programme entirely taught in English are not required to submit an English Language certificate.

Selection criteria
- Curriculum studiorum and Academic background (up to 50 points)
- Statement of purpose (up to 30 points)
- Relevance of previous studies and experience to the course objectives (up to 20 points)
Final ranking and admission
Upon completion of the evaluation process, the Committee will prepare two separate rankings of candidates eligible for admission to the Master's Degree program. These rankings will be published on the GLaM webpage. The ranking for the selection of non-European candidates (15 places available) will be published by 30 April 2025, while the ranking for European and equivalent candidates (50 places available) will be published by 31 July 2025.
