The main objective of this course is to introduce the fundamental concepts of logistics. This course defines supply chain management and studies the most important operational components of a supply chain: demand forecasting, inventory control, distribution management, transportation and warehouse management, location, etc. It also introduces more strategic elements such as distribution network design as well as international aspects of procurement, production and distribution.
