Since admission to the European Master in Business Studies (EMBS) is selective, prospective students must apply online as mid December 2021. The application period starts in December/January each year. Applicants should submitt their application by the relevant deadlines. No paper applications will be accepted. Non EU students (also those living in Europe) are required to apply by the first deadline, in order to allow enough time for the visa procedures.
Each student is required to submit a complete online application which provides the university with fundamental information and allows the Admission Board to evaluate candidates. Applicants are required to provide us both with accurate information on their relevant academic and professional achievements. Students are strongly recommended to give themself sufficient time to complete their application and resolve any queries so that it can be sent to us before the relevant deadline passes.
The online application form must be completed in English.

Fees and financing
- € 2500 as EMBS tuition fee per year to be paid to the University of Savoie Mont Blanc as the main coordinator of the EMBS programme;
- about € 4000 euro per year to be paid to each partner university as national administrative fee;
- about 215 € per year for the health insurance (non EU, French and students without EHIC valid until September 2024).
It is a condition of student's enrolment that he/she has sufficient financial resources to pay for the EMBS. Self-paying students must provide evidence of their ability to cover tuition fees. Sponsored students must provide evidence of their sponsorship. EMBS students might have the possibility to be supported through grants and scholarships offered by the four Universities and their partners. However grants and scholarships will not cover all costs of living in Europe and attending the EMBS programme (fees, accommodation, books, travel,..). For further information please contact embs [at] univ-smb.fr. EMBS students are NOT eligible for the “Opera Universitaria Scholarship (OUS)”.
Each EMBS partner university provides a service to help EMBS students find a suitable accommodation.
All applicants are strongly recommended to read carefully all the information about living costs in Italy, France, Germany and Spain, prior to confirming their application.
