International opportunities for students

All applications will be assessed by a Commission nominated by the Rector of the University of Trento and composed by three members of the Department of Information Engineering and Information and Communication Engineering.

The Selection Committee will shortlist the eligible applicants taking into account the following criteria:

  • coherence between applicant's previous studies and the academic objectives of the Master's degree programme (assigning up to 30 points);
  • academic curriculum (assigning up to 60 points);
  • statement of purpose (assigning up to 5 points);
  • further language knowledge, reference letters and/or other competences/qualifications (assigning up to 10 points)

Applicants might be invited to interview (in person or via conference call), only if the Selection Committee requires to collect further information on applicants' academic skills and personal competencies.

Applicants with a score of at least 50 out of 100 are considered eligible. In a tie-breaker situation the Selection Committee will give priority to younger applicants.

The short-list of selected applicants will be published on the page "Results & Pre-Enrolment procedures" at the end of  March for Non EU citizens and in late July for EU citizens.
