International opportunities for students

The Law Faculty of Trento offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies (CEILS), taught entirely in English.

The CEILS will provide its students with an authentic international experience and an all-encompassing education in comparative, European, international and transnational law. Together with other national legal systems, elements of Italian law will be taught within the European, comparative and international framework. Last but not least, CEILS students will have the opportunity to apply for internship programmes in international institutions. The diversity of the students’ community will enhance their learning commitment and intensify their contact with other cultures. The CEILS curriculum will be taught by Italian and foreign professors, who have wide-ranging research and teaching experience in Trento and abroad.

Course Overview

The CEILS Degree is offered to 50 highly qualified applicants.  A  5 students quota is reserved to applicants non-EU nationals living abroad
 

Admission requirements

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  • High-school leaving certificate (or equivalent qualification obtained in a foreign country)
  • Good knowledge of the English Language (minimum requirement B2)

Selection criteria

EU applicants

EU applicants will be selected in April and August 2018 by means of a test (in English) focusing on:

  • General culture from an international perspective
  • basic IT skills
  • political and institutional knowledge from an international perspective

Non-EU applicants

NON EU applicants will be assessed according to the following criteria:

  • Curriculum Vitae (0-35 points)
  • Knowledge of the English Language (0-25 points)
  • Interest and competence ascertained through interview (0-40 points)
