What is Traineeship in Erasmus+ countries

The Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027 allows you to do a trainsheep in an European Country, member of the Erasmus+ Programme (please see the list in the Destinations box).

Beneficiaries

If you are enrolled in single courses at the time of application for the traineeship, remember that you must be enrolled in a UniTrento master  programme at the start of the traineeship. If you are entrolled in a joint programme, you can apply only if your career is managed by UniTrento (namely which is started at UniTrento).

Duration

From 2 to 4 months for students. The scholarship will cover the entire period. For this category, students may ask for an extension of up to two months (non-funded), provided the extension is approved by the tutors of UniTrento and the hosting institution.
From 2 to 6 months for recently graduated students. The scholarship will be awarded for a maximum duration of 3 months.
Once started, the traineeship must not be interrrupted by any other activity. Traineeship working hours per week must be at least 32 hours. The maximum working hours during the internship depends on the local legislation which the host institution must adhere to.
Important note: If you interrupt your traineeship without valid and documented reasons within the first 2 months, you will have to return the scholarship already received. Not returning the scholarship will result in the impossibility to enrol in the following academic year or to graduate.
Important note for Opera Universitaria accommodation grantees: if you got your Opera Universitaria accommodation through the International Mobility Office, please note that you will have to leave your accommodation at the time of departure for the internship abroad and that you will not be eligible for another one in the future.

Candidates who have been granted another mobility scholarship for the same period (e.g. Bilateral Agreement) will be allowed to participate in only one of the mobilities and will have to withdraw from the other one.

Specific requirements and required documents

Check the Specific requirements at the Open Selections call webpage, depending if you are Student or recently graduated Student.

Students enrolled in the joint master EMBS European Master in Business Studies can apply for internship scholarship also for destination countries entailed by the programme itself. This is applicable also to double degree students coming from the partner universities Shanghai International Studies University (China), Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lituania) and American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan).
