International opportunities for students

The International Credit Mobility project coordinated by the University of Trento allows students and faculty funded mobility to and from 5  partner universities, located in 3 non-European Countries.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The 2018 Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility was approved for a total of EUR 115.050,00 and 30 mobility:27 incoming and 3 outgoing. Students mobility accounted for 18 grants incoming only. Staff mobility was intended to be 9 incoming and 3 outgoing. The project ended on July 31st, 2021.

MOBILITY IMPLEMENTATION

UniTrento used the 91% of the project funds, supporting 26 mobility:
19 STUDENT MOBILITY; study and research activity for a duration of 5 months for course attendance and 3/5 months for thesis research (both thesis research and PhD), depending on the project agreed with the tutors:
19  INCOMING 10 BA, 4 MA and 5 PhD)
 
7 STAFF MOBILITY, both for academic and administrative staff for a duration of 10 days:
7 INCOMING (4 ACADEMIC STAFF AND 3 ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF)
 
The only mobilities that have not carried out despite a twelve months exension were those planned in last months of the project and prejudiced from the needed of quarantine.

EVENTS AND DISSEMINATION

Staff training week for international staff, attended by professor Madani Salah from Université Batna 2 from Algeria, and Unitrento staff partner days 2019, attended by professor Sytnyk Natalya from National Areospace University from Ukraine, and ICM info days 2020.

The ER+ experience enabled UniTrento together with the University of Batna 2 to start a new cooperation within the Big Data Processing and Analysis (BigPro) project financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project involves PhDs mobility opportunities from Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, in order to let them to acquire advanced skills in the elaboration and analysis of "big data."
