Vienna is the most beautiful city in Europe. It is the perfect combination between a small city and a metropolis. Everything is accessible by transport, there are wonderful mountains within walking distance and at night it is always full of life. The university environment is great. Unlike many of my colleagues, I decided to take the courses in German. The professors were always helpful. They offered to explain in English and allowed me to hand in exams and assignments in english.

The French university is different from the University of Trento, first and foremost, in its practical approach to the subjects. In my opinion, this experience is indispensable for getting to know the reality of living abroad, and it is also an added value when entering the world of work. The long duration of the mobility period can be frightening, but it is the time needed to take full advantage of the experience that will allow you to grow both linguistically, culturally, and personally.

Although the selection criteria for admission are high and the study load considerable, I recommend EC Lyon because it ensures excellent employment opportunities. At this university, the classes are small and each student has a personal tutor. The Double Degree is an excellent passport to the world of work. Furthermore, doing the internship was useful to get to know the working environment and enrich my CV.

LMU Munich is a university full of life and opportunities. I found an international world. Most of the students came from outside Europe, such as Japan or China. But I also met many Italians and others. In the Medical Physics department, students and professors are in close contact and activities are organized, such as trips to the lake to get to know each other. The university has many contacts with the whole world. The organization of the university is another advantage.

I spent a 6 month period in Leipzig with the Erasmus+ Study call, where I had already done another Erasmus. I have a severe neurological disability (I move around in a wheelchair) and when choosing a university I had to consider many aspects such as the accessibility of the University's facilities and student residences. In Leipzig I found a welcoming climate towards diversity where I was able to interact fruitfully with lecturers and fellow students.

I applied without expecting anything a few days before the deadline because a friend put a bug in my ear. It was a life-changing experience. Erasmus challenges you from the first day to the last, you constantly push your your limits and it helps you become a new and better (hopefully!) version of yourself, both professionally and personally. I wish you the opportunity to experience first-hand what that means.

My study experience at the Universität des Saarlandes, Saarbrucken, was important in my academic career and fundamental for my personal growth. The medium-sized city offers numerous activities and, being located in the heart of Europe, provides easy access to many places. The university has many international students and this allows the Erasmus experience to be lived to the full in a welcoming and stimulating environment

For oenologists it is an important opportunity to experience what you study. During my time abroad, I learnt not only from the professors but also from my fellow students. This degree gives you the advantage of differentiating yourself from other Italian graduates and allows you to look for work abroad. It is an opportunity to seriously consider.

Being able to interact and work with people from a different background, speaking two languages at a professional level, being able to work under stress: these are just some of the skills you can acquire at the Technische Universität München. Other positive aspects are the possibility of customizing the study plan and access to many research opportunities, including paid ones. Furthermore, this academic path is a guarantee to find a job.

I spent nine months in Reyklavik, Iceland, and discovered a world so different but at the same time so inspiring that I will remember this experience forever. One piece of advice I would give is not to be discouraged by the distance or the cultural differences. I had these doubts in the first place, but once I got there I was overwhelmed by so many new things that I didn't even realise that in the meantime I had already got used to life there. So, jumping in without prejudice or fear is the key.

A very interesting experience, especially due to the fact that the international community at NTNU is very large. Both from the human point of view and the exchange on study subjects, there is a great dialogue with students from all over the world. In addition, you can have the possibility to travel and walk in nature just outside the city. You can take advantage of these opportunities thanks to the efficient public transport and the possibility to spend the night in University facilities.

This space is not enough to say it all, but I appeal to those who would like to leave. Don't let fears and insecurities stop you: what is on the way is an adventure that will mark you and that you will remember forever. As far as I am concerned, Tilburg has given me a lot, helped me to grow as a person and to get to know myself better. I found an openness and interest in other cultures from other international students, but especially from the locals. Go, the regret is not to do it. Goeie reis!

For my thesis research I spent four months at Deltares, an applied water management research institute in Delft, the Netherlands. This experience gave me an insight into a new working environment, compared to what I was used to. The city is very university-like, although in a short experience and by working outside of the University it is not easy to make contacts with other students. The main advantage is the enrichment of the student career. The support of my internal supervisor was crucial.

Competent people, professors from abroad and many students on Mobility programs. Brno brings together different cultures and is characterised by a very active daytime and night life, and for those who like to travel it allows to reach five capital cities in a few hours by bus.

It is an indescribable experience, only by living it can you realise how unique it is. I would advise students who intend to embark this adventure to enjoy every moment, to appreciate everything, to take advantage of every possibility offered to them. it is an opportunity to learn about yourself, your limits and your strenghts. Live this adventure without fear and without remorse, put yourself to the test, only then will you be satisfied in the end.

My Erasmsus experience shaped me as a person: I was very shy, I found it hard to open up to other people and make new friends. I usually preferred to stay at home and do nothing, I preferred to lose myself in some TV series or some book. I found myself catapultated into an unknown country, with no one to rely on but the people I would meet on the spot. I managed to come out of my shell and discovered new things I like to do.

In the five months I spent in Barcelona, I took a completely new and beautiful direction. I arrived in a huge city, in which I was unable to calculate the time needed to get from one building to another, and therefore I was always late despite my usual punctuality! I met all kinds of people, discovered the possibility of having an open and constructive relationship with teachers, rediscovered the joy of making new friends. Experience this magic!
