Didactic activities (lectures, parcatical, internship) are organized in two academic years (four semesters); the language of instruction is English.

One CFU ('Credito Formativo Universitario') is worth one ECTS (European Credit Transfer Sistem) credit and corresponds to about 25 hours, inclusive of class hours (6-to-10 according to the activity) and the hours for individual study; for graduating, 120 CFU are required. Exams may be written, oral, or project work.

Internship is an integral part of the course. Students may work in one of the University labs, under the supervision of an academic tutor, or at a company, under the supervision of an academic and/or an industrial tutor. The final dissertation aims at showing studnets' ability to apply their theoretical and conceptual skills related to interaction design applied to an empirically defined problem.
