MEC graduates learn to evaluate problems from an economic perspective, assess strategic issues within companies, public institutions and government bodies, work in groups with a strong focus on the result and possible policy recommendations and strategies. This makes them fit to work for multinational corporations, banks or government institutions, as well as for research institutions and public administrations. Specifically, MEC graduates are skilled to manage the strategic governance of private firms, work for private organizations or public institutions to evaluate policies at state and European community level, and analyze and evaluate the economic aspects of international trade. In addition, this MEC provides students with the necessary foundations in economics and econometrics to proceed to a PhD.
