In recent years, the introduction of techniques and technologies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) have radically revolutionized many productive sectors, pervasively entering into the daily lives of people and industrial processes.
Advanced Artificial intelligence technologies are in fact the basis for voice assistants in smartphones, smart speakers, domestic robots, autonomous driving vehicles, modern industrial robots, the most advanced medical diagnostic systems, and numerous applications in the Industry 4.0. In fact, it makes it possible to partially or completely innovate and automate the production and management processes for companies.

This is due to  its ability to process, analyze, decide, and establish actions, all in an autonomous way and in real time, with a significant impact on competitiveness of the companies.

The new two-year Master's Degree course in Artificial Intelligence Systems at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento aims to train new professional figures at the forefront of the conception, design and development of techniques, technologies and intelligent systems, favoring the multidisciplinarity of approaches and applications. It has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Engineering (DII), the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC) and the Department Faculty of Law .
