International opportunities for students

Students' activities within the MSc Programme in Environmental Meteorology consist of lectures, visits to weather services, environmental agencies or other relevant initiatives, class/lab practice, field activities, seminars and internships. 

Courses of the first year are held in Trento.
Courses of the first semester of the second year are held in Innsbruck

All the lectures of the master take place on site and students are expected to attend courses in person.
Attendance onsite is mandatory at the University of Innsbruck.

The fourth semester (second semester of the second year) is free of courses to allow students working on their master thesis. This activity may be perfomed either in Trento or in Innsbruck, upon agreement with the supervisor. 

Students fulfilling all the requirements prescribed in the curriculum will be awarded:

  • the degree of "Master of Science" from the University of Innsbruck 
  • the degree "Laurea magistrale in Environmental Meteorology" from the University of Trento.
