International opportunities for students

The Master's degree programme in Mechatronics Engineering aims at shaping competitive mechatronics engineers, which are increasingly demanded in the areas of innovation of products and production systems, intelligent mechanics, advanced design, planning and management of manufacturing process and complex systems.

Students who have graduated with a MSc in Mechatronics Engineering are in great demand for a variety of careers from manufacturing industries (e.g. specializing in high-tech products), basic and applied research, engineering firms, consulting and services companies, business units at the level of corporate responsibility (e.g. in production, logistics, quality control, marketing, etc.), and public institutions.

The Master's degree programme in Mechatronics Engineering has been tailored to allow students to embark upon any international post-graduate level study; the PhD programmes offered at the University of Trento include Mechatronics Engineering and Control.
